1

Make a circle for the base of the chopper.

2

Using the shape you just made, draw out the actual lemon shape of the helicopter's base.

3

Draw out the tail end of the helicopter, and then add a small wing on the side.

4

Draw in the windshield and then the passenger side window.

5

Draw a small cap on the top of the helicopter's hull, and then draw out the propellers.

6

Lastly for this step, all you have to do is draw the legs or base for the helicopter. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one and then let's see how your drawing came out.

7

And here you have an awesome, simple looking helicopter that kids and novice artists will love. Color in your drawing and try out something new on Dragoart.com.

Description: Here is another great lesson for all you novice artists out there that love drawing transportation vessels like tanks, trucks, and yes helicopters. Up for the day I will be showing you how to draw a helicopter for kids, step by step. I'm trying to upload stuff that will be helpful for folks that have trouble with drawing helicopters for battle drawings or just for straight out fun. I enjoyed making this chopper because it is simple and even a little cute. It actually looks like those small remote control devices that you can buy in your local toy store or even at Walmart. i think their called 'Air Hogs', and they are not that expensive depending on the size, and other specs of the remote flyer. Anyways, you will like drawing a helicopter for kids because it's going to be easy, fast, and fun. I will be back soon with more stuff for you guys to do so stick around people there is more in store for you all.
