How to Draw Chibi Midna, Midna
Before I upload some easy stuff for you guys today, I want to start with another chibi that I think you will all enjoy. I managed to fill a request that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do. I say this because the particular character in question was sort of hard to figure out how to turn into a chibi. I think I managed to do it, so today I will try to teach you "how to draw chibi Midna", step by step. I wanted to make her look cute, as well as spunky because as you now Midna is a firecracker. Anyways the design concept wasn’t easy to conjure up. I had to actually play with a few ideas before I came to what you see before you now. I actually would like to see how the new Zelda game is. I watched some video reviews on the Skyward Sword, but you know how it is, nothing is really the same unless you experience the game for yourself. Well, I guess that’s about it. STEP 1.
To draw a chibi version of Midna, you have to start with two shapes, one for the head and the other is a bit smaller for her body.
STEP 2.
For the next step, all you have to do is draw in her face plate and or crown that she wears. The lining should be full of angles and points like you see here.
STEP 3.
The next thing you are gonna what to do is draw in the detailing on her mask as well as incorporate the right eye as you can see it done here. Take your time so the drawing comes out nice.
STEP 4.
Now that we are getting somewhere, what you are gonna do now is sketch out the shape of chibi Midna's face structure like you see here. Draw in her elven like ears, and then draw the other eye. Sketch in some hair chunks which are coming out of her mask, and then draw a mouth and a single tooth.
STEP 5.
The only thing you have to do here is draw out some more of her hair which is in one big chunk.
STEP 6.
Now you can draw out her body in full form. When you do this be sure to draw her the way you see her in the pose. If you look at her body closely, you can see how it sort of looks like a chicken.
STEP 7.
Next, draw in the markings on her wrists and on the ankles because as you can see there is no more steps after this one. Once you think your chibi version of Midna looks good, begin cleaning up the sketch and move along to see if your drawing looks like the one in the finished line art.
STEP 8.
When you are all done you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Color in your chibi Midna to finish her off, and maybe add her to the other chibi characters from Zelda.Comments: Post Comment
