Roger Waters 2012 & Manson Concert

Ok, I know I've previously stated that I was going to Mayhem and Excision, but I cancelled those plans. Mayhem didn't have anything 'fantabulous' to offer so, to my shock, Marilyn Manson and Roger Waters are doing another tour, and I'm extremely hyped for these events! Let me know if any of you are going by leaving a comment on my profile or at any of my social connections via Facebook, Twitter, etc. Anyways, I hope you guys are practicing like crazy. With lots of practice, you will channel through a metamorphosis into becoming, a pro artist. Enjoy the week, folks <3

Experimenting New Styles

Recently, I've been testing with various art styles. I find myself honed with the comic and other digital painting styles. It's fun because you gain skills by practicing for hours! My conclusion, experiment and don't be afraid to take risks, even if it means wasting lots of time.

Mayhem Fest 2012 & Excision

Guys guys! Guess what?! They're revealing the band lineups for Mayhem Fest 2012 on January 25, 2012. I totally can't wait to see who is going to be premiering! I went to the 2009 Mayhem Fest and boy, was it INTENSE. It was also my first concert so I was in utter shock of electrifying energy boosts from the power bass and guitar solos. Anyways, there's that and the Roger Waters concert, as well as Excision which features the first ever 100,000 Watt PK Dubstep sound system with trippy ace visuals! I totally want to go, here's a video:

Christmas + Roger Waters

So I've been working on surprises for the past few days, and nice ones! New tutorials are coming along, and so is the upcoming Christmas holiday. Oh, did I forget to mention that Roger Waters is doing another tour of “the Wall”? I'll be the first to get the tickets when they're available! How do you guys look forward to spending your Christmas? Are any of you playing the new Skyrim game (I heard it's a huge success). World of Warcraft released their premiere of the new movie, that I HAVE TO SEE! Also, a prequel of “Beetlejuice” is in the works too. Just thought I'd get that out there. Woo!

Alright, a few weeks ago, I was listening to Pandora randomizing music, like always. They had this Skrillex song on and I HATED it, my brother told me there's really awesome songs with intense drops, so I went ahead and gave another try. Here's my obsession 'drop' result:
Isn't the drop just so energetic, you have to stand up to let it out? Pft, when this bruthah comes in town, I'm totally hoggin' those tickets (we missed him locally two weeks ago T_T).

Ok so, I was browsing YouTube for more awesome Nine Inch Nails music and stumbled upon this video:
This is totally weird, isn't it? If you've watched the whole video, you'll realize it's like a rockstar ÃÃÃÃÃâ pimped out version of Snape from Harry Potter. This vid was released in 1997 (or so I've read). Shame on you JK Rowling xD

Hey folks, I hope everyone had a wonderful and fun Christmas! I got a new webcam which calls for no more crashes of the camera during Livestream Broadcasts.

I've recently moved into an office outside of my previous home. When first moved in, t'was freezing cold; my fingers were icicle nubs! Now that there's a heating system, it's much warmer and there's a new tiny TV. The office needs some cleaning since there's tons of boxes EVERYWARE! I'm trying to stock up and invest in a new desk so I have more room for drawing. (poor desktop is so tiny...--->)

There was this super epic desk I've seen at Staples that I so want. It would really make space for my tiny, stuffed area. Also, CATACTLYSM has been released!! Maybe when my work-load is lifted, I'll be able to chillax with you peeps on the new WoW update ^^'.

Did everyone have a good Christmas? It better have been a Merry one. There will be new site updates soon, so watch out! I'm very excited to annouce this upcoming feature to all of you! Thanks so much for your lovely support to the site and keep spreading the love!

There's going to be some changes here on DragoArt very soon, hopefully, which will making tutorial surfing much easier. There have been a few gradual updates on the site as well. Yep folks, Halloween has ended and it's a new month...strange how days fleet beyond your imagination x) My Halloween day was lame (I'm too old to Trick or Treat!! OMGGG! World of Warcraft Cataclysm is being released on December 12th!! I can't believe it! I haven't played the game in sooo long, and might get it again in the distant future :P I still have to upgrade the expansion from 'the Burning Crusade' to 'Wrath of the Lich King' in order to get 'Cataclysm'. If any of you folks want to add me there, I play under the 'US Coilfang' server. My character is 'Nasilia' and I'm a Nelf Druid. Once again, I can't exactly estimate when I'll be able to play again :O.

Hey guys, this is Dawn speaking and I wanted to let you all know that I haven't been on for 2 days. I'm currently at the library writing out tutorials that I previously submitted. I'll try to get internet access at my new home.

I'm so sorry for the bad delay; I've been moving around with the family so things are a bit shaky here for the site. Internet is taking forever to hookup to the house. Drawing hasn't been done for a while. Me and my sister are going to see "the Last Airbender" tomorrow night. I'll be here tomorrow to submit some great tuts. Has anyone seen "Twilight Eclipse"? I really want to see it.

Thanks so much for those who have commented, rated, favorited, and viewed the tutorials! How do you guys like the Artwork section? I've been putting up a few artworks there recently and browse through most of your artworks. There are some artists that I'm pretty jealous of to tell you the truth.

Let's talk about the new movies that are going to be in the theaters soon! I realized today that the new Shrek 4 movie is out. How many of you peeps going to see that? The previews made it looks pretty awesome. Prince of Persia seems like an amazing movie. I look forward to that indeed. Does anyone know if Nightmare on Elm Street is released yet? Avatar the Last Airbender is a movie I'm totally looking forward to watch! Me and my siblings are going to see that movie the first week it visits the cinema. If there's a good movie out there, please don't hesitate to share it with the community!

On another note, I have a really funny video to share with all of you. It's this uber rocked out bird that wants to express his love for metal.

Live Drawing Stream

For those who don't know yet, I do live drawing sessions. You can chat with other members about whatever you like too! If you need drawing or site help, I'm there. The live drawing stream starts around 8 PM EST from Monday to Saturday.

There has been a recent change with the site! I'm not sure if some of the older members notice but the Private IM box has new smilies! The smilies were found on DA by Bad-Blood. I truly hope you'll enjoy this feature on the site, but the fun doesn't stop there! There's going to be a mailbox for members to use. I can't really spoil the awesomeness until it gets released.

The new "Prince of Persia" movie will be coming out on May 28th. I'm very excited to see that. What movies are you going to be excited to see? I really hope they'll be making a movie of "Assassin's Creed". That game has to be one of my favorites amongst other games.

In off topic news, has anyone seen the "How to Train Your Dragon" movie? I'm really anxious to see it because it includes awesome mythical creatures, dragons. My sister has seen the movie and absolutely loved it. There's also another movie called "The Clash of the Titans - Remake." I would really like to see it since I made tutorials on some of the mythical creatures.

Tonight I'll be livestreaming again. Yesterday I did really cool tutorials on sci-fi related subjects. Look out for the new tutorial that's going to be posted on what I'm talking about. I believe spring vacation is arising this week. My siblings have no school after Friday. Is there anyone else going on a Spring Vacation?

I've been receiving a lot of requests lately. There's so many of them, and the requests are really neat. I'll definitely go through the large list I have and fill them. Soon you'll be able to request tutorials or artwork from other members. It's going to be really cool, I'm totally looking forward to it :)

There is also a new field in the "Artist Details" area above the "About Me" that says "What I Use To Draw". You can enter all your information about the tools you use to draw! How cool is that?! *Note* If you had information filled out in the "Contact" field before, it's been deleted. Your going to have to fill it out again for click-able links.
