I drew the picture of the fairy for a teenage girl who had written a story about them. PuzzlePieces' excellent tutorial on "How to Draw Faeries" (above) was very useful in helping me get started.

I always liked to draw from the time I was old enough to hold a pencil. I kept it up until I graduated from high school and then stopped for many years. Then I got back to it after I retired. My advice to all young artists is STICK WITH IT. DON'T QUIT like I did!!Tools of the trade
