What I use to draw:
Mechanical pencil, paper, and imagination. Sometimes I ink with Faber Castle pens, and I will occasionally color with pencils, but I really want to get a drawing tablet and a more powerful computer.
Nursing student. Middle-aged fat guy. When it comes to my own drawings I prefer cartooning to realistic art (although I can appreciate other people's realistic works). I know this is mainly a children's teaching site, but after twenty years (off and on) of so-called college art instructors feeding me their restricted ideas and boxed-in views, I find simplistic instruction the best way to learn anything in any creative medium. See things for what they are in their simplest form and then self-teach through practice.
