Yeah, this is just my opinion, but I think the levels in the Shadow the Hedgehog game should be of an equal difficulty for all missions: challenging. I mean if you had a choice of shooting up a big ship that takes forever to kill in a limited amount of time or finding a Chaos Emerald at the end of the level, people are obviously going to go for the emerald mission cuz it's easier. If there was a catch at finding the emerald that made it harder, then the levels would've been much more engaging and less annoying. As or the Sonic Heroes thing, it sounds like some Sonic vid game fans need to broaden their horizons. The addition of the power and fly formations is what made this game so unique from the other Sonic games, and I'm one for uniqueness! inlove And the only team that was really slow was Team Rose. Just saying, I mean I like them both! (Wow, we're just having this long conversation about the Sonic games! lol I feel we're not including your other friends! T_T

I played each one on my PC 'cause I don't have any consoles *to be honest, 'Shadow the Hedgehog' was never released for PC. I emulated it* and I liked the game play in both games. However, the game play is what most players dislike in 'Sonic Heroes' - fans I asked say that it doesn't have true Sonic Speed. Maybe it doesn't, but that's not a serious enough reason to hate such a lovely game with awesome music and backgrounds confused Controls were good, too. 'Shadow the Hedgehog', as I believe now, was for people who like both shooters and sonic games... Or not... But not for people who wanted another beutiful-colorful-happy game. I think that was the reason for their hate. The other reason can be how evil Shadow sometimes acts. And too many damns. Yeah, the difficulty is mostly random, but IMHO it makes levels more interesting. Well, except for Mad Matrix - Dark mission is really annoying stupid *Nevermind, I write even more xD*

Actually, on playstation 2, (which is what i have it for) Sonic Heroes was one of the greatest hits, and I definitely have to agree with that! the game play was good, the levels were engaging, and the controls were easy to learn. boogie I'm not sure exactly who didn't like it... Shadow the Hedgehog however was mainly not what the audience expected. The controls are a little more sophisticated, but not that much, and the difficulty of each mission in each level was very tedious and mismatched. shrug Basically, it wasn't as good as people thought it would be. (i know I write a lot! =D bear with me!)
