This was supposed to be a tiger cub that escaped from the zoo and was hiding. The reason I decided to draw that was because I knew I wasn't going to be able to draw the other half symmetrically.

hehe, nice technique, i also have the same problem sometimes when i'm drawing faces so I just cover the other half with hair so that i dont have to draw it lol
