Pet Birds

Drawn in colored pencil. I'm personally not into birds (kinda afraid of them actually) but did this for a friend. TIP: use a variety of pencil techniques (I for one never crosshatch. It feels and looks funky for me) but a lot of diagonal strokes alternating with shapes that form the depth of your drawing.
